The Packages
I have created three different packages for you to choose from. Please take a moment and see what I can do for you.
basic Package
The basic package is designed for anyone who wants a professional portrait of their dog(s). The studio session will take place in Capitola at my studio. You can choose between a black/white background or there are some color options, too.
The actual shoot takes about 45 minutes. I do full-body shots and close-ups. The package prices are for one dog, and there’s an additional charge of $50 per extra dog for the session. They have to come from the same family. If you have more than three pets I recommend booking 2 photo sessions so we have enough time for each of them.
The photo session, including one digital photo file, cost $150. If you select additional digital files, they cost $50 per photo. All of my images are beautifully retouched.
family Package
Why not capture your relationship with your dog in a portrait photo? Join your dog in the photographs and create an extra-memorable photo for your family gallery.
The studio session will take place in Capitola at my studio. You can choose between a black/white background or there are some color options, too. The actual shoot takes about 45 minutes. I do full-body shots and close-ups.
The number of people in one session is limited to two and one dog. There’s an additional charge of $50 per extra dog for the session. They have to come from the same family. If you have more than three pets I recommend booking 2 photo sessions so we have enough time for each of them. If you have a bigger family I recommend booking the adventure package.
The photo session, including one digital photo file, cost $200. If you select additional digital files, they cost $60 per photo. All of my images are beautifully retouched.
premium Package
We will start by talking about your expectations, and the best way to capture your dog’s personality.
The appointment typically lasts from 1 hour to 2 hours depending on your needs. I usually begin by meeting you and your dog in your home and start with a full-body portrait and close-ups. I set up my portable studio in a garage or large open space with electricity. Perfect is a hard floor to work on. You are always invited to join your pet in some of the photographs. The package prices are for one dog, and there’s an additional charge of $50 per extra dog for the session.
The photo session, including one digital photo file, cost $450. If you select additional digital files, they cost $60 per photo. All of my images are beautifully retouched.
I am based in Santa Cruz but can travel anywhere in the Bay Area. I do charge for transportation.

In search of an extra-memorable gift for your family or friends? Lovely designed and personalized gift certificates for a dog photography session are available.
Photo Shoot, Process, and Payment
After the photo session, your dog deserves an extra pet. Well done! I will process all pictures, which usually takes a few days, and send you a digital album with a preselection of the best photos. This selection includes around 15-30 pictures. Please remember that the pictures are NOT finally retouched and are just low-resolution files. After choosing your favorite(s), I send you an invoice. When I receive your payment, I start retouching/adjusting the photos and set up a link for you to download your final artwork.
I accept the following payment methods: Apple Pay, Venmo, or you can pay by check.
Digital Files
Your digital files are print-ready. The photos will be high-resolution files suitable for printing up to 8 × 10 inches at 300 dpi. All of my images are beautifully retouched. I also provide you with low-resolution versions of all selected and purchased images. These images will be suitable for online use and social media.
Please note, that pricing does not include printed photos. Customers can use the online photo printing service of their choice. This service is available for an additional fee if you need help setting up for printing.
Customer Agreement
Copyright for all images, both high and low resolution, shall remain with the Photographer (Eva Sacher). Unless the Photographer provides expressed written permission, it is illegal to copy, scan, and/or reproduce the images with the exception of printing images for the customer’s personal use. Violators of this federal law will be subject to civil and criminal penalties. Photographer retains the rights to use any images created under this contract for professional samples, displays, website, social media, advertising, exhibitions, contests, and/or any other purpose. The customer agrees they are not permitted to use the images for profit, advertising, or any commercial purposes. Customers interested in commercial photography will receive separate pricing and a commercial license/agreement.
General Terms and Conditions
Please read the provided General Terms and Conditions carefully before using Dog Photography’s Services. These Terms are a legally binding agreement between you and Eva Sacher.
Safety precautions for photography sessions
Since Covid-19 has changed the way people work, I am no exception.
Please reschedule if you are feeling sick or if one in the family is/has been sick for the past 14 days. Let’s keep everyone healthy and happy.
Waiver of liability release
By agreeing to a photography session with Eva Sacher, the customer is hereby waiving, releasing, and discharging Eva Sacher from any and all liability, including but not limited to, liability arising from the negligence or fault of the entities or persons released, for death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may hereafter occur to the customer or its family including traveling to and from this event. Eva Sacher is not responsible for any injuries inflicted upon any participating parties. Client(s) will be responsible for their dogs and children and for themselves and release Eva Sacher from any claims against their person or their business. The client swears that each person is participating voluntarily in the said photography session and forfeit all right to bring a suit against Eva Sacher or dog photography for any reason. Eva Sacher is not responsible for uncooperative parties. It is understood that the behavior of dogs or children is unpredictable, however, the photographer is not liable if the dog or children do not cooperate during sessions.
