I am a professional dog photographer based in Capitola, California.
I grew up in a creative and crafty family on a farm in a small village in Germany with all kinds of animals.
Since I can remember, there were always dogs (and cats) in my life.
I knew that I wanted a career where I can express myself and be creative. I got accepted in 2000 at Muthesius University of Fine Arts and Design (Kiel/Germany) and started studying Graphic design, typography, and photography. I finished my diploma in Graphic Design and Typography in 2005. Even though my heart was in photography, I started a job as a graphic designer in Hamburg.
When I moved in 2014 with my husband to San Francisco, I took the chance to focus on the next steps in my career. Now, I had the guts to choose what was always my passion and dream. So I started my dog photography business in 2017.
I had a good feeling that San Francisco is the right city for such an adventure.
After six years of living in the city, we decided to move to Capitola. I fell in love with the people and dogs. Everyone is super easygoing and welcoming. I feel connected to the community, and I love to put a smile on people’s and their pet’s faces.
I never get tired of it
Expose: Successful dog manager, dogs whisperer from experience, pet-champion… seriously!
